It has had to be a while...

So it has been more than a year since we started the adventure of researching, buying, renovating, moving into, and living in the old November House.

You might be wondering why we waited, why now, and what are we going to do to catch up.

Why we waited?

It turned out that a number of our contractors weren't necessarily stellar examples of their trade. Due to the nature of their work, and the work they may have done in the past, there was some concern that retaliation would happen if I were honest about what was happening. We decided that a cooling off period would be a good idea before posting the true experience.

Why now?

But, we've been asked to finally surface the 4000 pictures and associated story for those who have been waiting to hear (and see) it since 2014. We've decided to take the chance and build the blog now that time has passed. Hopefully we will not be punished for the truth we tell.

What are we going to to do catch up?

That is an interesting question. I could do this a few different ways. I can post all the pics and related stories in the chronological order, and the exact date they happened. I can post all the entries in real time, but put the actual date of the pictures and activities in the titles. Or I can post them on separate pages, with the date listed for the activities, so you can see, month to month, what happened and how things have changed.

We'll see which of these really works as we go.

Regardless, I'd like to get all the information somewhere online so all the people who asked for the story can read it in one, easy to access, place.
