December 2016:

Repair roof over bedroom again (same leak): 275.00 Denny Dawes (D&J Contracting) -covered cracks in goo, replaced another loose shingle. Discovered he can also do garage door and electric door opener.

November 2016
Run electric to garage- Mike N. and Tom (asst). Tom was a bit of a problem, got claustrophobic in crawlspace (he had one job...), broke back door mulliens, put light in garage in the wrong place (you had one job...). Mike ran two 20 amp lines to garage, three lights, three outlets in work space, two in garage, one for electric controller. They did drill yet more holes into the joists of the house though..

October 2016
Luke Neice came in with asst to clean out and prep boiler for winter. Added conditioner for the water. Don't need to do every year, but nice to have it done this time. They made sure everything was running right.

September 2016

Tony at Arborel came back to trim bush/tree at front of house because of electrical company threatening to do it themselves.

Tony at Arborel tree services trimmed trees in the back of the house. Good job (did cut limb I didn't want cut beside house that gave me more privacy, but hey, what can you do?).

Repair collapsed retaining wall in backyard. $3000 Kirk. He regraded the dirt in the yard incorrectly, and "oopsy'd" on the stairs/landing/railing. He probably used the backhoe to pull on the railings, shifting the concrete for the landing and stairs out several inches. He then took out the landing, and re-concreted it three inches out, past our property line, to cover for his mistake. The retaining wall a it went up to the tree was never actually replaced. The stairs had to be resealed against the house because it was open to water leakage, and the yard is now sloped towards that corner of the house.
